Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Trell Goss, and I'm left wondering about the two firearms found at the scene. It's odd to me that no one has been charged yet. The lack of immediate arrests makes me question whether there's more to the story than we know. Were both guns used in the shooting? Could one have been Trell's for self-defense after he went to retrieve it? I can't shake the feeling that part of the story may be missing, and I hope the grand jury can shed some light on what truly happened that night.
It's so devastating to think about the impact this has had on the community, especially with all the positivity Trell brought with his book readings and involvement in literacy efforts. His work touched the lives of so many children and families, and it's just so unfair that he's gone so soon.
I'm keeping his loved ones in my thoughts and hope for justice. If anyone has more info or thoughts, I'd appreciate hearing them.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic loss of Montrell "Trell" Goss. It's such a blow to the community, especially knowing how much he gave of himself to support literacy and education for kids. I had a chance to attend one of his readings at the Black Parent Initiative, and his passion was palpable.
I can't help but think about the children who were inspired by Trell and his stories about the misunderstood coyote. It must be hard for them to grasp what happened. Do we know if any resources or support groups are being set up for these kids? I hope people can come together not just to mourn, but to also uplift and continue the crucial work Trell started.
It’s so bizarre to think of such a dedicated and gentle soul like Trell caught up in a violent situation. I truly hope the investigation sheds some light on what exactly transpired that night. Sending love and support to his family as they navigate these difficult times.
I’ve been following Trell Goss's case closely, and I can’t help but think about the impact this will have on the children who loved his stories. Trell’s books always seemed to resonate with kids by portraying the misunderstood coyote finding his place in the world. It's hard to imagine how his young readers will deal with the news of losing an author who made them feel seen and heard.
It really speaks volumes to his character that people admired him not just for his talent, but for his genuine dedication to the community. I heard that he always made an effort to speak at schools and literacy events. It feels like a crucial message needs to be shared with those kids now more than ever – that communities can come together to support each other, even in the face of senseless tragedy.
If anyone knows of tributes being organized in honor of Trell’s work, especially involving children and literacy, I'd love to hear about it. It's times like these when supporting one another and continuing his mission becomes so important.
