I've been thinking a lot about the kids who were in the house when everything went down. It must be incredibly traumatizing for them to lose their mother in such a horrific way and to witness such violence. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through right now. I hope they have a support system of family members or friends who can provide them with love and comfort during this unimaginable time. It's so important for the community to come together and support these children, ensuring they receive counseling and a safe environment to heal. My heart goes out to them and to everyone affected by this tragic event. Does anyone know if there's a fund or any way we can help support the family during this difficult time?
I can't stop thinking about those two kids who were in the house during this terrible event. It must have been incredibly traumatic for them, and my heart goes out to both Vonetta's and Ciara's families as they navigate this painful time. I hope they have a strong support system around them and that they're receiving the care and attention they need. It's unthinkable to imagine what the kids might have witnessed or heard that night. The road to healing is going to be a long journey for them. I really hope that anyone who knows this family is stepping up to help support these children in any way possible. Sending love and strength to them all.
Hey everyone, this case is so upsetting. My thoughts are really with Vonetta's family and her sister Ciara as she recovers. What really caught my attention was the intense police chase down I-5. Can't imagine the panic everyone felt hearing about it in real-time. 45 minutes and 38 miles is just wild. I think it shows how determined Mitchell was to avoid capture, but thankfully the CHP managed to bring it to an end without further tragedy. It's terrifying to think about him driving at those speeds. Seems like a miracle nobody else got hurt. I'm just so relieved her children are physically okay and hope they're getting all the support they need. Anyone else following the jurisdiction issues between Oregon and California? It seems like it'll be a challenge, though I trust those involved will do everything they can to ensure justice for Vonetta and Ciara.
