On Saturday, March 9, 2024, at approximately 7:21 p.m., the Corvallis Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 1927 NW Highland Dr. in Corvallis, Oregon. Upon arrival, officers found 34-year-old Vonetta Johnson deceased on the kitchen floor, having succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head. Her sister, 24-year-old Ciara Page of Eugene, was also found at the scene, seriously injured from gunshot wounds to her shoulder and head.
