Wow, the more I read about Alejandro Mondragon, the more it breaks my heart to see such a genuine person lost in such a senseless way. I didn't know him personally, but hearing how he helped so many people in the community, especially those struggling with homelessness, really speaks to his character. I hope justice is served swiftly, and whoever is responsible is found soon. It's just so tragic that someone who brought warmth and care—literally, with blankets and firewood—had his life taken in such violence. I'm also concerned about the safety in the East Columbia area. It seems residents like Megan Ocampo are really feeling the pressure of increasing violence. It's hard not to worry for everyone's safety, especially if such incidents keep occurring without arrests. Please, anyone who knows anything, come forward. Not just for Alejandro's sake, but for the safety and peace of the community. Wishing strength to his family and the people he helped; their loss must be unimaginable right now.
