I’ve been thinking a lot about the people who were there on that fateful night when Bernard Cason was taken from us way too soon. It tears at me to think about how someone's life can end so suddenly and how the witnesses must feel about it all. With over 150 people there, surely someone knows something that could help. I understand the fear and apprehension about coming forward, especially if you’re worried about your own safety, but imagine the relief and peace it could bring to Bernard’s loved ones who’ve been left searching for answers for more than a decade. Let's not forget there's a child whose every birthday passes without his father, growing up missing someone who should have been there to guide and support him. The $4,000 reward is still out there, and even the smallest piece of information might be enough to make a difference. If you were there, remember that it’s not just about justice—it’s about healing a community and giving a voice to those who have lost theirs.
