I'm still processing the loss of Tywon Meek and the senseless gun violence that took such a young life. While the indictment of Anthony Ramos offers some promise of justice, it's unsettling to consider how many lives have been touched by this tragedy. Tywon was just 19—he had so much ahead of him. I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through right now. The impact on the community must be immense, and it's a reminder of how critical it is to address these issues. It’s reassuring to see local leaders taking gun violence seriously and offering support to the affected families. Here's hoping the courtroom brings some closure and the community continues to rally for safer neighborhoods. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Tywon.
