I've been following the tragic case of Kim Marie Fairbanks and it's just devastating to think of what that family has gone through. My thoughts are with Kim's loved ones, especially her daughters and her surviving granddaughter. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they’re feeling right now. I've been thinking about the incredible strength of the 12-year-old who survived. Children are so resilient, but I hope she’s receiving all the support she needs given the trauma she's endured. I read that she’s in stable condition, which is a relief, but the emotional scars must be immense. I also wanted to highlight the role community support can play in these situations. It’s heartwarming to see how people often come together in the wake of such tragedies, offering everything from meals to emotional support. It's a reminder of the kindness that still exists in this world. If anyone knows more about any support being organized for the family, whether that’s fundraisers or community vigils, please share.
