I’ve been thinking a lot about how Zay was really into sneaker collecting. It's a hobby that often brings people together—there’s a whole community around it, and it often takes a lot of patience and dedication to find those rare gems. I wonder if there are any groups in Boston that knew Zay through sneaker culture? It might be possible that someone from that scene has helpful information or memories to share that could shed light on anything unusual leading up to that awful night. It's really hard to grasp that someone with so much brightness and passion had their life taken away so suddenly. Hoping his friends and family find comfort and justice.
I've been following this case closely, and my thoughts are with Xavier’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I've been thinking about that intersection at Old Road and Michigan Avenue in Dorchester. I've driven by there a few times and always felt it was a bit isolated at night. It's curious why someone would be there at that time, isn't it? Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I wonder if there are businesses or cameras nearby that might have caught something on footage. It would be helpful for the investigation if there was more surveillance in areas like this one. If anyone knows local spots around there or has seen anything, even if it seems minor, it could be crucial for building the full picture of that tragic night. Hearts go out to all who loved Zay. Let's hope this case gets the attention it needs for justice to prevail.
Did anyone else notice the timing of the warrant for Mikai Thomson's arrest on August 21st, 2023? It's so unsettling that it was issued before the tragic event on September 2nd. I can't help but think about how if things had played out differently, maybe Xavier, or "Zay" as he was lovingly called, would still be here. It makes you wonder about the systems in place and how these situations are managed. My heart truly goes out to Xavier's family and friends. He sounded like such an incredible person, full of life and potential, and it's such a terrible loss for all who knew and loved him.
