I’ve been following Deandre Jones’s case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about how safe he must have felt in that truck right before the shooting happened. It’s so unsettling to imagine — sitting there, probably thinking about what’s happening the next day, and then this unimaginable act occurs. The fact that the suspect came from an adjoining complex’s parking lot is just chilling. It almost seems like Deandre was being watched or followed, and that makes everything feel even more sinister. I can’t help but think about how his girlfriend and son must be feeling, losing someone they love in such a tragic way. Really hoping the authorities can piece together more details soon for the family’s sake and bring whoever’s responsible to justice.
