I’ve been following the tragic case of Damontey Williams, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I’m really curious about the role technology is playing in solving this case. The ShotSpotter system led the police to the scene so quickly. Does anyone have insights into how effective ShotSpotter has been in past Springfield cases or potentially similar cases elsewhere? I wonder if there are any breakthroughs that might help bring justice for Damontey. This tech seems promising, but I hope they also have strong leads to follow beyond just the initial alert. Anyone else have thoughts or additional info?
