I cannot shake how truly devastating this situation is for the Menard family. Losing both parents so recently must have put an enormous strain on everyone, and when emotions run high, it's sometimes a spark that sets off such unspeakable tragedies. Paul's choice to use those firearms shows a level of premeditation which is incredibly disturbing—how did things escalate to this point? It makes me wonder about the influence of the grieving process on their relationship and whether family tensions had been simmering for a while. The aftermath for their remaining brothers must be incomprehensible: dealing with grief, loss, and the legal proceedings all at once. I hope Monique's friends and family find strength and support during this unbelievably difficult time.

Just stumbled across a detail in this tragic case that I can't stop thinking about. Monique's murder is so deeply unsettling, especially considering the family dynamics at play. It's devastating to imagine how a family disagreement, no matter how intense, could spiral into something so tragic. I noticed that Paul waited 20 minutes before heading to the police station. This makes me wonder what was going through his mind during those moments. Was he in shock, or was he contemplating what he'd done and its consequences? It’s such a painful situation for their remaining siblings and family, losing both Monique and, in a way, Paul too. It's hard to wrap my head around the emotional toll this will take on the entire family moving forward.
