I was reading about the tragic shooting of Corey Duncan, and it’s just unbelievably sad. I can’t stop thinking about how this happened so close to Ben Davis High School. It makes me worry about the kids who go there and what they must be feeling right now. Schools should be places where students feel safe, not somewhere near such trauma.
Does anyone know if there were any witness accounts from that morning? I heard the shooting happened around 8 a.m., which means people were probably getting ready for their day or headed to work or school. The community really needs voices to speak up, so anyone with information should definitely reach out to Detective Edwards. Young lives like Corey’s deserve justice. Sending love and strength to his family and friends.
