I can’t stop thinking about the role that mentoring played in Darian Wiley's life and how much it meant to him. It’s clear from everything shared that Darian wasn't just a participant in the ACE Mentor Program; he was a cornerstone. Imagine the impact he had not only at his alma mater, Arsenal Tech, but also on those students who looked up to him as a mentor. It takes a special kind of person to inspire others, and Darian seemed to embody that. Reading about his upcoming Mentor of the Year award, it's just all the more tragic knowing he won't be here to receive it. I hope the recognition of his contributions continues to motivate others in the program to carry on his legacy. It speaks volumes about his character and the positive influence he had on so many young lives. My heart goes out to all those who were touched by Darian—it must be so difficult to lose someone so integral to their personal and professional journeys. Let’s keep sharing and talking about stories like these, so Darian's spirit and dedication live on.
