Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Sergio Alvarez Jr.'s case closely, and I just can't stop thinking about that incredible food truck dream he had. It’s so sad that his passion for cooking and his vision for sharing joy through food won’t get to come to life. I read somewhere that he was all about loaded fries — can you imagine all the wonderful combinations he might have created? It’s really heartbreaking to think about the future that’s been taken from him and from his family. If anyone has any information, the police and Crime Stoppers are still looking for tips. It’s just so unfair that violence continues to take such bright futures away. Has anyone here tried to help support the family or know if they’re doing anything in memory of his culinary dreams?
Has anyone else heard about the community event Serg was planning with the Connect 2 Be the Change group? I came across a flyer when I was in South Bend last month, and it just hit me that it must have been one of the projects he was involved in. It's truly devastating how someone with such a big heart, who was actively trying to improve his community, can be taken from us so suddenly.
It's also heartbreaking to think about the future he was working towards—being a dad and starting his own food truck. I never met him, but through everything I've read, it sounds like he was really making strides to leave a positive mark in South Bend. For those who knew him, I can't imagine the void his absence has created. I hope they find the person responsible and bring some form of justice for Serg and his family.
If anyone has more details about his community work, I'd love to hear how he touched others' lives. It's stories like these that remind us how important it is to continue supporting initiatives against violence. Please, if you have any leads, contact Michiana Crime Stoppers. Let's help get justice for Serg and his family.
I’ve been following Sergie’s case, and it just hits differently knowing how much he was looking forward to becoming a father. It's beyond tragic that he never got the chance to meet his child or see the dreams he had for their future unfold. I can’t imagine what Da’Quejiha is going through, carrying their baby while dealing with this immense loss. It's comforting to know, though, that Sergie's family seems to be rallying around her and their unborn child. It really shows how important family support is during tragic times like this. Sending all my thoughts to his family and especially to Da’Quejiha and their little one. If anyone has the slightest bit of information that could help resolve this case, I hope they come forward. Sergie's family—and his future child—deserve answers and justice.
