I've been following the case of Takeysha Burks, and I can't shake the feeling of loss her family must be experiencing. It's unimaginable to think about someone you care for deeply suddenly being taken away in such a violent manner. Her shooting on the northeast side of Indy still haunts our community every day. It's been over a month with no leads or arrests, and I truly hope someone with information steps up soon.
I've been thinking about the area around Breen Drive, and it's frustrating that even in our own neighborhoods, we have to remain so vigilant and aware to feel safe. Takeysha deserves justice, and Detective Lottie Patrick has a lot on her shoulders trying to piece this together. Never forget how one tip could potentially solve the case. If there’s anyone out there reading, speak up if you know something. Takeysha and her family deserve answers and peace.
Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Takeysha Lana Burks and can't seem to shake how senseless this tragedy feels. I drove by Breen Drive not too long ago, and it’s tough knowing such a horrific event took place right there in our community. It’s always shocking when something like this happens so close to home.
