Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about Devin and his family, especially considering how the incident happened right in front of his mom. I can't even begin to imagine the pain she must be going through witnessing such a terrible event. Devin's life was cut way too short, and it sounds like he was such an incredible older brother and son. I read somewhere that several mothers in the community who have also been through similar tragedies are joining forces to call for change and support one another. It's so moving to see these brave women standing together, turning their grief into action. They shouldn't have to do this alone, though. I really hope more people in positions of power take notice and start addressing these issues more seriously. It's encouraging to see KIPP Indy stepping up with secure campus protocols and support systems, but there's a lot more needed beyond just the immediate response. The community seems to be rallying, and I think it's crucial for us all to keep discussing these topics and push for real solutions to prevent further loss. Sending love and strength to Devin's family, friends, and everyone touched by this tragedy.
