I’ve been following the tragic case in Indianapolis, and my thoughts are with the victim’s family and all those affected by this senseless act. I've been thinking about the impact on the businesses around the area. The descriptions of the normally peaceful area turned chaotic, with multiple establishments damaged, is unsettling. It makes me wonder about the experiences of the employees and the owners who had to witness this firsthand or arrived at work to find their workplace damaged. I can only imagine how terrifying it must have been for those in the GZ Restaurant & Karaoke when the disturbance initially kicked off. I hope the business owners and their staff are receiving the support they need. It's distressing enough to deal with the aftermath of such a violent event without having to worry about the safety of their work environment. Hopefully, the community can come together to support one another during this difficult time. I’m really hoping that more people come forward with information to help the IMPD. If anyone knows anything, even if it seems minor, it could be crucial in helping bring justice for Samuel and those injured. Let's keep this conversation going and do what we can to support the investigation.
