I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has on the community Tyrone left behind. He seemed like he was so full of life and passion, especially with all his involvement in sports growing up. Participating in biddy basketball and little league during his school years must’ve created a solid bond with his peers and given him a sense of community. I hope those who shared those moments with him find comfort remembering the good times, as sports often create lifelong friendships. It's deeply upsetting to see such a senseless act of violence disrupt what once was a positive and formative chapter in his life. My thoughts are with his friends and family; I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they’re enduring right now. How do we, as a society, better support families affected by such tragic events?
