Does anyone else find it curious about Anthony Perry's arrest timeline? Dinky was killed on January 18th, but Perry wasn't arrested until over a month later on February 23rd. That's a pretty significant gap, and I wonder what took so long. It's hard to imagine what Dinky's family went through during that time, waiting for justice with no one in custody for weeks.
The fact that the charge is reckless homicide with a firearm enhancement is also interesting. Was there some uncertainty about whether this was intentional or truly accidental? My heart goes out to Dinky's family. It's tragic enough to lose him, but dealing with complex legal matters only adds layers to their grief. Hoping they find strength in each other as they seek closure. Would love to hear more insights into this if anyone has connections or details to share.
Does anyone else find it troubling how Dinky's skills and contributions to the community seem to be overshadowed by the tragic circumstances of his death? He was clearly someone who brought joy to his family and a hard-working guy who took pride in providing for his loved ones. It's so important that we remember these aspects of his life and not just the way it ended. I feel for his family, especially his daughter and grandkids who have to navigate life without him now. I hope justice is served but equally hope we don't forget the person he was beyond the headlines.
