Hey everyone, I’ve been following Amber Morgan’s case and something that caught my attention was how Amber was actively planning to leave Robert Cooley before her murder. It's so chilling to think about because it highlights how dangerous it can be for someone trying to leave an abusive situation. From what I've read, Amber was even part of a program for aspiring leaders and was in touch with domestic violence advocates, which shows she was taking steps toward a better future for herself and her daughter. It’s devastating that her life was cut short just as she was making those moves. Amber's story really underscores how important it is for communities and systems to support those in troubled relationships. It makes me wonder if there were more resources or awareness around her, could things have been different? It's clear Amber had a lot of love and determination to improve her and Audri's lives. Just heart-wrenching to see it end like this... Has anyone else looked into how effective local resources in Indianapolis are for people in similar situations? Really hoping more can be done in her memory to help others.

Has anyone else been deeply moved by the community's response following Amber's tragic passing? It truly highlights how loved and valued she was by so many. I've been reading about the vigil at Marian University’s Amphitheatre, and the turnout of over 100 people just to honor her life shows the mark she left on those around her. The way the community has rallied to support little Audri and Amber's family speaks volumes about the power of love and solidarity in the face of such devastating loss. Kelly McBride's words about the importance of having a safety plan for those in situations like Amber’s resonated with me deeply. It’s a stark reminder that these risks often escalate during vulnerable times like pregnancy. It feels crucial to spotlight this aspect so that we may learn from it and potentially prevent future tragedies. My heart goes out to Amber's loved ones and especially to Audri. May she always feel her mother's loving spirit surrounding her as she grows.
