Hey everyone, I’ve been following the discussions about Michael Alvin Edwards Jr.'s case, and something that keeps coming back to my mind is the choice of location for the shooting. The area around North Leland Avenue seems like a fairly residential place. I visited there once while passing through, and it struck me as a neighborhood where people know each other – not the kind of place you'd expect something so tragic to happen. I’m curious about whether there have been previous incidents or disturbances involving Mason or others in that vicinity. It seems bold for someone to act so violently in what could easily be a public setting. Could it have been planned? Or was it just the culmination of a building tension between Edwards and Mason?
