I was just thinking about the location where Larry Whiters was found. I used to pass by that intersection at W. 22nd Plaza and Morton St. almost daily for work. It’s eerie to picture it now as the scene of such a senseless tragedy. It’s a spot most locals wouldn't think twice about, and now it’s marked by this devastating event. I really hope that someone who might have witnessed anything unusual that day steps up and helps the investigation. It’s unsettling to know that whoever did this is still out there. My thoughts are with Larry's family and friends during this tough time, and I truly hope justice is found soon. Let’s come together as a community to support them and push for answers.
Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Larry Whiters? It’s profoundly affecting to see another instance of senseless gun violence, especially when it hits so close to home in our communities. I can't stop thinking about that intersection where it happened on W. 22nd Plaza and Morton St. Was Larry in the wrong place at the wrong time, or did someone have a vendetta? It’s unsettling that no suspects have been identified yet.
Moreover, it seems like there hasn't been a lot of media coverage beyond what we already know. I strongly believe we need more attention on these cases—lives are being cut short far too often. Anyone else have thoughts on what might help dial up public awareness so that maybe we can prevent these tragedies from becoming just another statistic? My heart goes out to Larry's family and those impacted by his death. Stay safe, everyone.
