I’ve been following the devastating news about Airron Lemont Green's tragic death, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. It’s so infuriating and saddening to see yet another bright young life taken away by gun violence. Every time I drive down East Washington Street, I can’t help but think of him and how senseless these acts of violence are. I’m hoping that someone who knows anything will come forward soon. The fact that there’s no information about a suspect or motive is concerning, and it must be incredibly frustrating for Airron’s loved ones who are left with this enormous void and no answers. I'm also grateful for the continued efforts of the IMPD and detectives working tirelessly on this case. Here's hoping that justice is served swiftly, not just for Airron’s sake, but for the peace and healing of everyone affected by this tragedy. Stay strong, everyone. Let's keep our thoughts with all those who knew him and make sure that his memory continues to shine brightly despite this horrible loss.
