I’ve been following the case of Milo Walker’s tragic death, and it’s truly haunting how such violence can just erupt seemingly out of nowhere. What really stands out to me is how this has impacted the University Village community. It’s a tight-knit area, and you can feel the ripple effects of fear and sadness everywhere you go. People are on edge, looking over their shoulders, and it shouldn’t be like this. I read through some of the online memorials created for Milo. It’s touching to see how many people have shared stories about his kindness and generosity. He seemed like someone who genuinely cared about his community and the people around him. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this tough time. I hope for justice not only for Milo but for every family who’s had to endure such sudden loss. It’s high time the authorities channel more resources and effort into curbing this senseless violence—we can’t just sit by as this becomes the norm.
