I’ve been thinking a lot about the neighbor who tried to help Alexis that tragic morning. I can’t imagine the trauma they're dealing with, being the first to respond and doing everything possible to save her. It must be incredibly difficult to live with those memories. I hope that they have a strong support system around them and are getting the help they need. Their courage and compassion are truly commendable. I can’t help but feel deeply for them, as they were thrust into an unimaginable situation. Sending them strength and support as they navigate through this difficult time. Anyone else think about the unsung heroes in situations like these?

Hey everyone, I was reading through some old articles about the Alexis Boland case, and I can't stop thinking about how it must have felt for her neighbor who found her that morning and tried so hard to save her life. It's so easy to overlook these heroes in the midst of all the tragedy, but seriously, hats off to them for stepping up in such a terrifying situation. It makes me wonder how they’ve been coping with what they witnessed and the aftermath of that day. Does anyone have more info on what kind of support systems are available for people like this neighbor who end up being first responders in these unexpected and traumatic situations? I really hope they’ve found some peace. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this case.
