I’ve been following the tragic case of Nicole Watson, and my heart absolutely goes out to her family, especially to her son, Jacob. I can't begin to imagine what they’ve been through over this past year. What really struck me is the role that surveillance footage might play here. It’s frustrating to think that even with cameras around, there's been no progress. Does anyone know how common it is for cases like this to stall, even with potential video evidence? I’ve heard about privacy laws and technological issues that sometimes delay things, but it’s hard to comprehend that there hasn’t been any accountability yet. I truly hope the CPD can leverage all available resources to push forward. My thoughts are with Jacob too, as he continues his recovery. No child should ever have to endure something so traumatic. Hoping for a breakthrough soon, for healing and justice.
