I’ve been thinking a lot about the community aspect of this devastating incident. Englewood has been struggling for so long, and it’s truly upsetting to see what happened to Jarrell and Jabez. What really gets to me is how this happened in the middle of a neighborhood where kids were outside playing and living their lives. It’s a blessing none of them were physically harmed, but the emotional impact is something I can only imagine. My thoughts are with the families who lost their loved ones and with the community that had to witness such violence. It's really important that we support each other during times like these and demand more resources and attention to prevent future tragedies. What can we do to help heal the community and ensure our kids feel safe again?
