I’ve been following the tragic story of Johnathan Salgado, and I can’t stop thinking about what his family must be going through right now. Something I’ve been pondering is the role community support can play during such difficult times. It's crucial for neighborhoods, especially those that experience frequent violence like Little Village, to have strong support networks. Community gatherings, vigils, or even dedicated online spaces could offer the family some comfort and a platform to share their grief while pushing for justice. Does anyone know if there are local efforts or events organized in memory of Johnathan? I think it’s so important for the community to come together not only to honor his life but also to raise awareness and perhaps even spark more urgency in solving his case. If there’s a way to support them from afar, I'd love to help however I can. Such events can sometimes provide new leads or insights, and perhaps even a witness who might have been hesitant to come forward could feel empowered by the community’s show of solidarity.
