I've been reading about the tragedy that took place in Garfield Park, and it's just so deeply upsetting to hear what happened to Timothy and Jaylan Lockhart. My heart goes out to their family and friends who are facing an unimaginable loss. It’s devastating how violence continues to claim such young lives. I can't stop thinking about Timothy, who was just beginning to explore his talents as a rapper under the name Lil Tuda. What dreams did he have? We'll never know the full potential he could have reached. The thought of a family having to endure this kind of pain is just overwhelming. I wonder if anyone else has looked into the ties to the Dirty Money Gang. It feels like a tangled web where rivalries lead to senseless violence, but it’s a cycle that, unfortunately, seems so hard to break. I keep thinking about what Supt. Fred Waller said regarding the new strategies to tackle this issue. Does anyone have any insights or thoughts on what might be effective here? I'm hoping that changes can be made before more lives are lost in this way. We need to find a way to disrupt this cycle and create safer communities for everyone.
