Has anyone else heard about the wrongful death lawsuit against Scene75? I can't stop thinking about the policies in place there and how this tragedy might have been avoided. From what I've read, the shooter was able to get back in with a weapon after being involved in a fight earlier. It raises serious concerns about their security measures. I can't imagine how Derrick Dillon's family is feeling knowing that some lapses might have contributed to this horrible incident. It just seems like a place where you go to have fun shouldn't also be a place where something like this happens. What are everybody’s thoughts on holding venues accountable in situations like this?

Has anyone else been following the updates on Scene75's security policies? It's shocking how a place meant for fun could turn into such a dangerous setting. From what I've read, the wrongful death lawsuit against them claims the shooter easily reentered the venue with a gun after being in a fistfight earlier. I can't help but think about Derrick's family and how they must feel knowing this tragedy possibly could have been prevented. It makes you question how strict these places really are with their safety measures, especially when it comes to letting minors back in without adult supervision. I hope this brings about some change at least. Anyone else have thoughts on how businesses like this can amp up their security?
