It's truly tragic to hear about the passing of Eddie S. Williams Jr. I was looking at the Silver Street area on Google Maps today, and it’s alarming to think about such violence happening in what seems like a quiet residential neighborhood. I can’t help but wonder about the community impact and how the neighbors there are coping. It must be terrifying for those who live nearby, knowing this took place so close to home. I hope people who might have seen or heard anything are coming forward to assist the Urbana Police Department. Keeping Eddie’s family and friends in my thoughts as they navigate this difficult time and hope justice is served soon.
