Did anyone else see the news about the vigil held for Ulysses "Uly Bear" Campos? It's so moving to see the community come together to support his family during such an unimaginable time. I can only imagine the pain they're experiencing. From what people shared, Ulysses was truly a light and brought joy to everyone around him. The fact that the community surpassed the GoFundMe goal speaks volumes about the impact this little boy had on those who knew him. Planting a tree in his honor is such a beautiful idea, a growing reminder of his spirit. Has anyone from Franklin Park been out to see the memorial they're planning? I'm wondering if there's anything more we can do to support his family right now.

I can't even begin to imagine the pain Ulysses' family is going through right now; losing such a young soul in such a senseless manner is beyond comprehension. I want to take a moment to talk about how the community has rallied together. It's truly inspiring to see so many people coming forward to support Ulysses' family. The GoFundMe page not only surpassed its goal but became a symbol of solidarity and hope. It shows the power of community coming together to comfort and support one another in times of tragedy. Also, the idea of planting a tree in his honor resonates so deeply. Trees have a way of standing the test of time, much like the memories of those we lose. They provide shade and life, a small symbol of the light Ulysses brought to his family. I hope the tree grows strong and continues to symbolize Uly's vibrant spirit for generations. Sending strength and love to everyone affected. ??

The more I think about this tragedy, the more my heart goes out to the Campos family and their community. It's terrible to even imagine the pain of losing such a young and lively child like Ulysses. I was particularly struck by the fact that his father had just bought him a PlayStation 5; it made me think about all those little moments they looked forward to and now will never get to experience together. It emphasizes how random acts of violence can ripple through the lives of families and communities. I'm so sorry for their loss and hope they find some comfort in the outpouring of support from those who knew and loved Ulysses, as well as from those who are just hearing about his story. Also, it's relieving to hear that the community has gone above and beyond in supporting the family through the GoFundMe. It shows how people can come together in meaningful ways when faced with the unthinkable. The planned tree planting in Ulysses' honor sounds like a beautiful tribute that will keep his memory alive. Sending love and strength to the Campos family during this unimaginably tough time. ❤️
