As someone who grew up in a nearby neighborhood, it's unsettling to see how crime has crept into places we once considered safe. Knowing that a young life was lost there under such violent circumstances is a heavy burden.
I hope the Joliet Police are able to find answers soon, not just for Miguel’s family, who deserve justice and closure, but also for the community as a whole. If anyone has information, no matter how insignificant it might seem, please consider reaching out to the police. It’s these small details that can knit together the bigger picture. I've been following the tragic murder of Miguel Mendoza and stumbled across a detail that's left me puzzled. Why was there no mention of witnesses or possible surveillance footage from the area? This intersection doesn't seem secluded, and given the time of day, wouldn't there have been people nearby or some businesses with cameras?
It's incredibly sad that Miguel's life was lost in such a horrific way, and my heart goes out to his family and loved ones. I can't even imagine the pain they're going through.
