Hey everyone, I've been following the discussion about little DaRiyah, and something that I keep coming back to is her family. Losing someone so young is unfathomable, and I can't even imagine the pain that her parents and siblings are going through right now. Six brothers and a sister, each now carrying the weight of her absence—it’s just so heavy to think about. I noticed there was a visitation and funeral service at the New Life Community Church. It must have been such a difficult day for all who knew and loved her, yet also a poignant moment to gather as a community. I hope the family found some comfort in seeing so many people come together in support and love. While we're talking about the crime itself, I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge DaRiyah's family and everyone who’s grieving. They deserve all the support we can give as they navigate through this devastating time. If anyone lives in or around Belleville, maybe we can talk about community events or ways to show up for them? Just a thought. Sending warmth and strength to all who are affected by this. ?
