Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Edwin Varela-Santos and I can't stop thinking about his family, especially his parents and brothers, during this extremely difficult time. Losing a loved one is incredibly hard, but under such violent circumstances—it's unimaginable. The fact that the accused are so young is also quite shocking. It makes me wonder what led to this point in their lives. Youth violence is a pressing issue that really needs addressing, and I hope this case opens up more conversations about prevention and intervention in our communities. It's just so sad to see young lives tangled up in such a tragic ending for Edwin and a tragic path for these teens.
