Just heard about the arrest of Rashaard Nunn in connection with Damar Watts' tragic death. It's hard to wrap my head around the senselessness of it all. I didn't know Damar personally, but from what I've read, he seemed like a young man full of potential and deeply loved by his family and friends. The community is clearly hurting from the loss, and it feels like this wave of violence must stop.
I can't help but think about Damar's family and how they must be feeling right now, with their grief compounded by the arduous legal process. Imagining what his father and siblings are going through breaks my heart. It's crucial that we come together as a community to support one another in such difficult times and work towards creating safer neighborhoods. Hoping for some justice and peace for Damar and his loved ones. ?
