Has anyone else been following the tragic story of Johnny Huizar? I can't stop thinking about how resilient he was, even in those terrifying final moments. It’s unbelievable to think he managed to drive home after being shot like that. It breaks my heart for his family to know that they were able to see him one last time before he was rushed to the hospital. The strength they must have needed to face such a situation is unimaginable. I read somewhere about how much he was admired for his protective nature. It's so sad when someone like that is taken from the world, especially under such violent circumstances. I hope his family finds justice and that the Chicago police make some headway in their investigation soon. It's important for the community as well, as it's unsettling to think that the individuals responsible are still out there. Has there been any discussion in the area about increased security or community action following this? Communities standing together seem to be crucial in supporting the family and also in preventing such tragedies. Sending all my thoughts to Johnny's loved ones in this difficult time.
