Wow, I just can't get over what happened to Christine Esters and her family. The whole community is still in shock. I’ve been thinking a lot about how tight-knit the Esters and Nance family was. They always seemed to show up in support at community events—I remember seeing them at local sports tournaments. You could feel the love they had for each other, just a really genuine and kind family. This loss is huge for Joliet.
It's just so difficult to comprehend how something so violent could happen to such good people. Not knowing who did it or why makes it even harder for all of us who knew Christine and her family, even those of us just on the periphery. I've read that a GoFundMe has been set up for the surviving family members, and while it's great to see the community coming together like that, I really hope the authorities can find some answers soon. This senseless act of violence has left a void that won’t easily heal.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of the Esters and Nance family, and I just can't stop thinking about how interconnected they all were within their community. It's incredibly touching to see how many people have come out to share stories about Christine and her family. From participating in local sports tournaments to attending graduations, they seem to have been such a vibrant part of Joliet's social fabric.
It's baffling that with such an engaged community, there hasn't been more progress on the investigation. I really hope that the attention from everyone and the loving support can possibly drive someone to come forward with more information. It breaks my heart to think those who did something so horrendous are still out there.
Hoping for justice and peace for all the families involved. They deserve that much and more. Please keep sharing their stories—our community owes it to them to not let their memories fade. ❤️
Stay safe, everyone.
