I've been thinking a lot about Dwayne Cook Jr.'s case, especially how the incident took place in his own neighborhood. It's haunting to imagine that the Pullman area, where he shared so many beautiful family memories, became the site of such violence. Those streets must hold so many stories of him laughing, playing with his kids, and hosting those beloved barbecues. It's incredibly shattering for his family and community to associate those joyful scenes with such a tragic event now. It's a difficult effort to preserve Dwayne's legacy of joy and love in a place that has been scarred by this incident. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him, especially Cassandra and the kids. Hopefully, they can find strength in their memories and the joy he brought into their lives. Does anyone else have thoughts on how families cope with reclaiming spaces after such tragedies?
