Hey everyone, I've been following the details surrounding Jesus Arce's tragic death, and something that's been on my mind is the role that community safety should play in cases like this. Many folks around Logan Square often feel like the presence of violent crime compromises their sense of security, and it's so concerning that gunfire was reported early that morning, but nothing was found at the time. It's essential for communities to have a solid response plan when gunshots are reported, ensuring thorough investigations in the area, especially if it serves as a potential crime scene in the hours to follow. I'm hoping this will prompt local authorities to reassess their protocols not just in Chicago but everywhere, to prevent such a tragedy from happening to someone else. Let’s keep Jesus in our thoughts and support each other as a community to ensure justice is served. If anyone has more insights or feels similarly, please share. Stay safe out there, everyone.
