I’ve been following the Pembroke Township shooting, and my heart goes out to all the families affected, especially Milton Sykes' family. It's devastating that such violence erupted, turning what should have been a night of celebration into a tragedy. One aspect that’s been on my mind is the lack of security at the banquet hall where these parties were taking place. Were there any security personnel present at all? From the reports, it seems like the argument escalated pretty quickly, and maybe if there had been security, it could have been de-escalated before guns were drawn. It saddens me to think that a lack of precautions might have contributed to this terrible result. I hope with all the witnesses present, someone comes forward with information. If anyone was at the event and saw what unfolded, please reach out to the authorities. It’s crucial we help the families find some justice and hopefully prevent something like this from happening again. Stay strong, everyone impacted.
