It's just so tragic to think about how a simple act of concern could end in such a devastating way. Tony Rubalcava, or "Superbad Santana Starks" as many knew him, definitely touched a lot of lives. I find myself thinking about that moment, when his daughter called him outside. It's okay to wonder if things would have been different had she not—though it's not to blame anyone. In a situation like that, it's human to want to protect those you love. His instinct was to ensure she was safe, which says a lot about who he was as a father and person. Sending strength and love to his kids and all those feeling his loss right now. Sometimes it’s the quiet moments in our lives that tell us who we are, and it sounds like Tony’s were filled with love and care for those around him. Hope they bring whoever did this to justice soon.
