Has anyone else noticed how tragically young Makayla King was when she became a victim of gun violence in Chicago? At just 22, she had so much of her life ahead and her kids now face life without their mom. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and confusion her family must be feeling right now. It makes me wonder what she was doing in Chicago that day and if she felt safe there. The details are sparse, but I hope they shed some light soon for her family’s sake. For now, all we can do is keep her memory alive and support those she left behind. Any chance anyone has more information on the circumstances of her case?
