Has anyone else been following the efforts by Marvel White's family and the Restorative Project? I can’t imagine the pain his loved ones must be going through right now. From what I’ve read, they’ve been tirelessly distributing flyers and going door-to-door in Englewood, trying to get any kind of lead that might help bring Marvel’s killer to justice. It's uplifting to see the community rallying behind them, but it's also a solemn reminder of how prevalent these tragedies are. The fact that Purpose Over Pain, a group of parents who’ve endured similar losses, is offering a reward shows just how interconnected these experiences are. I truly hope this brings more attention to Marvel’s case and others like it. The cycle of violence has to end somewhere, and I hope his family finds the closure they desperately need. If anyone in the neighborhood knows anything, please come forward; justice for Marvel could help prevent future heartbreak.

I’ve been following the case of Marvel White with a heavy heart. As a parent, it’s devastating to think about what Marvel's family must be going through. I’m particularly struck by how his friends have been coping. Being so young and having to deal with the loss of a friend in such a violent way is unimaginable. From what I’ve read, Marvel was at the park with friends just being normal teenagers before it all went wrong. I can't help but wonder how his friends are handling this. Has anyone heard anything about grief counseling or support being offered at his school? These kids need a safe space to express their emotions and process what’s happened. My thoughts are with Marvel’s family and his friends. Hoping for justice soon.
