Just learned about the tragic case of Deputy Rafael Wordlaw, and I'm really struck by the chaos and courage during the altercation. It’s horrifying to think that the suspect, Thompson, was reckless enough to fire 69 rounds from two guns at once. The sheer volume of shots fired is alarming and makes you wonder about the levels of desperation and disregard for life some people have. The bravery Rafael showed in such a terrifying moment is commendable, but it's so painfully sad that he had to face such a situation at all. My heart goes out to his family and colleagues. Deputy Wordlaw clearly touched many lives, and his dedication to serving others should not be forgotten. I hope the legal process brings some semblance of justice and peace to those who loved him. Has anyone heard updates on how Thompson is being prosecuted or if there's been any court developments since the initial charges?
