I’ve been following the details of the Dennis Harris case, and something that caught my attention was how quick the response was once the ShotSpotter alert went off. It seems like the police were on the scene pretty fast, but I’m wondering if there's any data on how effective ShotSpotter really is in terms of leading to arrests or saving lives in situations like these. It’s so tragic that, despite the quick response, they couldn’t save Dennis or Jamarcus. My heart goes out to their families. I really hope anyone with any pieces of information comes forward to help bring justice for them. They deserve to know what happened that night and to see those responsible held accountable. Does anyone here have insights or resources on how ShotSpotter has impacted other cities’ crime-solving efforts?
