Was anyone else following the Derrick Robie case from Chicago? I can't help but feel for his family who must be going through an unimaginable time right now. It's mind-boggling how violent things can turn so quickly; he was just outside a CTA station, something most of us do daily without a second thought. With Derrick reportedly on pretrial release, I'm curious if this was a targeted attack or possibly related to his previous charges. It seems like a tragic cycle, and hopefully, the authorities can piece together what happened. Has anyone in the community heard any updates or speculations on potential leads or suspects? I keep hoping for some closure for his loved ones.
