I recently came across an interesting detail in Tammy Lynn Pitkin's case that got me thinking. Her gray Toyota Camry was found abandoned on that forest road with all her personal items inside, but no sign of Tammy—or her two dogs at first. What's curious to me is the fact that one of the dogs showed up three months later, wandering near where the car was found. How did the dog survive all that time? Did someone take care of it and then let it go, or was it living off the land? I'm wondering if there could be more clues around that area that might have been overlooked. Maybe the dog's return could help pinpoint a specific location where Tammy might have gone? Has anyone heard if they're using tracking dogs to follow any potential scents out there? Just seems like there could be more to that angle of the case. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I've been following the Tammy Lynn Pitkin case, and I can't help but wonder about her dogs. It's strange that only one of them was found months later near where her car was abandoned. Does anyone know if they've searched the surrounding area more thoroughly since finding the dog? I feel like animals have a strong instinct, so maybe the dog was trying to lead searchers somewhere? It just seems like with only one being found, there could be more to explore in that vicinity. Has anyone heard updates or ideas from locals about what's been done since then?
Has anyone been following the Tammy Lynn Pitkin case? I keep thinking about her two dogs, especially since one was found months later. I've read that dogs can sometimes find their way home over long distances, so it's curious to me how one ended up close to where her car was. It makes me wonder if Tammy might have tried to head back or if the dogs were separated at some point. Could anyone familiar with the area share more about the terrain or any other theories?
