I’ve been following this case closely, and I can’t help but wonder about the impact this tragic event has had on Dunkin’s employees who were there to witness it. Working the morning shift, just expecting a normal day, and then being thrust into such a terrifying situation must be incredibly hard. I read that the store team offered statement and surveillance cooperation right away. It’s obvious they did what they could during and after the incident, but I really hope their employer is offering them proper support and counseling. Nobody should have to deal with such a traumatic experience, especially when dealing with the immediate aftermath. Has anyone heard if the store or Dunkin’ as a corporation have reached out to help these staff members beyond the immediate situation? It seems like something that should be talked about more as part of the broader conversation on workplace safety.
I was just thinking about the impact this tragedy must have had on the Dunkin' employees and customers who were there that morning. It must have been an incredibly traumatic experience for everyone present. It’s not something you'd ever expect to happen while grabbing your morning coffee. My heart goes out to everyone who had to witness such a horrific incident. I hope the store has been offering counseling or support to help the staff and any affected customers cope with what they experienced. It's vital to remember that these tragic events leave ripples throughout a community, affecting more lives than just those directly involved.
