Hey everyone, I’ve been following the developments around the tragic incident at Cambridge at Southern Pines, and something that's sticking with me is the issue of safety measures—or the lack thereof—in these apartment complexes. It’s shocking to hear that Scion Properties hasn't installed security cameras, especially given the recent spate of violence. I mean, it’s 2023, and security cameras are such a basic deterrent against crime. Considering the number of residents and the fact that many are students, wouldn't it be a no-brainer to have surveillance in place? It just doesn’t sit right with me that safety isn’t being prioritized.
